In episode 10 we make a trancy breakbeat song with orchestral elements. We begin the project with chord progressions from our in house producer Inner Hearth, first we have two string sections, 2 French horns and a Church Choir triggered by MIDI. We then have the electronic elements starting with a rich pad, a bass pad, an arpeggiator and a main lead. The challenge for this song is to mix the orchestral elements properly in the mix as they are very rich and take a lot of room in the mix. We then start building the break beats using Drum Machine designer. We follow with a deeper engineering of the elements and start building a song.
